Library Card Registration
Who may register:
Free library cards are offered to--
Roxbury residents over 5 years of age
Township employees
Anyone who owns property in Roxbury
Township
Paid cards for $165 a year are available to Morris County
residents
who reside in communities that are not part of the M.A.I.N. Consortium
and to non-Morris county residents who reside in communities that are
not participants in "Open borrowing" agreements with M.A.I.N.
These card allow privileges at every library in the M.A.I.N. Consortium
What is needed
to obtain a library card:
Proper ID is required showing name and address.
It is helpful if you also provide your
or driver's license number or county ID
Where can a
library card be used:
A resident card can be used at all public libraries in
Morris County and at the County College of
Morris
(some restrictions may apply)

Borrowing of Material
What are the limits on items
borrowed:
Total number of items borrowed--NO LIMIT
Exceptions:
Leap Frog (pads, books and
accessories) -Limit 2
What are the loan periods
for materials:
Books and Audio materials--2 WEEKS/ RENEWED
TWICE IF NO
ONE IS WAITING
Renewals can be made in person or by phone (have library
card # available)
Videos-- 2 weeks with 2 renewals
Leap Frog (pads, books and accessories) 2 renewals
What are the overdue fines?
Most materials are $.10/day
Adult entertainment DVD's are $1.00 per day
Leap Frog (pads, books and accessories) - $1.00 per day
Can books be reserved if
not available?
Items can be reserved by Roxbury card holders only
The patron will be called when the reserved item is available
Items can be ordered from another library if not available at
the Roxbury Public Library. |
