Purpose of the Friends
The purpose of the Friends of the Library is to stimulate community awareness and use of the Township's Public Library and to support the Library in developing its facilities. The Friends attempt to foster support for the Library's programs, to aid in the purchase of items and equipment for the Library, and to encourage gifts, memorials, and endowments.
What do the Friends of the Library do?
In addition to pursuing activities which support the purposes outlined above, the Friends sponsor trips as well as cultural and educational programs for the benefit of the membership and the community at large. As a non-profit organization, the Friends are eligible to apply for grants to support their activities.
Who can join the Friends?
Membership in the Friends is open to all persons who are interested in the Library and the purposes of the organization. For more information on membership, click here.
