MEMORIAL, HONORARIUM and OTHER GIFTS PROGRAM
If you’re looking for a gift for someone who seems to already have everything...
If you would like to do something other than send flowers when a friend dies...
If you would like to commemorate a special occasion in a special way, consider the
Library’s Gift Program
How the program works:
You contact the program coordinator Sue Collins at 973-584-2400 x103, or fill out a memorial gift form available on-line or at the circulation desk.
You may send the completed form to the library to the attention of Susan Collins.
Sue discusses with you how much you would like to spend, what topic would be appropriate for the person being honored, and what kind of material you would like to donate. (In addition to books, CD’s or DVD's may also be selected as a gift.)
A title is selected and ordered.
When the item arrives, a bookplate is affixed naming the donor and the honoree.
The Library sends a letter to the family of the person being honored indicating what was donated and who made the gift.
Sue contacts you about the final price of the item. (Checks are made out payable to "Roxbury Public Library".)
You may also choose to honor someone by purchasing a leaf on the Library Legacy Tree.
